It seems like the Kayak Fishing ClassicS' just keeps getting better every time we take a look at them. The national series sports a list of sponsors that will knock your paddle socks off and it looks like there is more to come.
Recently the ClassicS added Dr. Slick Co. to the fantastic lineup of sponsors. All of whom are very pertinent with what they provide and Dr. Slick will fill the category of fly tying gear. In addition, the good doctor will provide some very high quality pliers and braided line scissors as awards. The high quality, surgical like gear is designed with saltwater fishing in mind and carries a Satisfaction Guaranteed warranty. The ClassicS anglers will put the new gear to the test as will we.
As if that is not enough, the ClassicS have also added Deep South Rods into the mix. Deep South is known for their tip and action technologies and offers a huge selection of rods for any light tackle, inshore fishing situation. Deep South also makes a professional series of bass rods for a pro bass series. Is there a special ClassicS rod in the works? We will see. Deep South Rods are a welcome addition and the contestants of the Kayak Fishing ClassicS will soon find out just how terrific they are.
More better is good so let's not stop there. Rumor has it that a major fly line company is also joining the ranks. The ClassicS has two fishing divisions, light tackle and fly fishing so there is a lot of gear needed in this series. Could the fly line company be the famous Jim Teeny Fly Lines Company? We'll have to wait and see and we are sure to keep you posted.
Another ‘wait and see' rumor is that there is a gear storage management company in the works. The ever possible ‘role-over' in kayak fishing demands great organizational skills and prevention or some great gear could be deep sixed! We heard that a tackle management manufacture has great interest in becoming involved in the ClassicS as an exclusive sponsor in that area.
There are many of them out there but only a few very good ones. Great design and quality are a must and some unique features are a plus. One company comes to our mind and that is PRECISSIONPAK.
