"High Flyers" in Las Vegas are usually known for gambling, but if you want to be a real high flyer, you should try the sport of skydiving in Las Vegas. If you think gambling is exciting, wait until you feel the thrill of flying through the air over the gambling capital. In Nevada, it is required that you become certified before a jump, but once you take the required courses, you can be up in the air, skydiving safely and with expertise.
Las Vegas skydive centers are designed to make this experience quick and easy for you. The knowledgeable staff at a skydiving center will acclimate you with all of the rules and what you can hope to experience during the jump. By making sure you know what to expect, the training team will make sure you are fully prepared to skydive. Such tips as proper body alignment, the feeling when the chute opens and other things like this will make the first jump more comfortable and fun.
The first thing to expect upon your arrival at the skydive center is to be directed to the drop zone. There, you will be outfitted with all of the necessary equipment for a dive. You will be issued a helmet, goggles and a jumpsuit. Don the jumpsuit and goggles, and the instructor will connect you to him with the harness. Then it is onto the plane, a double check for the harness connection and then you are properly belted into the plane's seat prior to take off.
As the plane approaches lift off, you will receive another briefing on how the dive will progress, and the harness will be once again. Now you are ready for the real thing, and as the door on the plane opens, you will feel a level of excitement you have probably never known before.
In an instant, you will leave the plane, fully attached to your instructor, of course, and fall briefly before the parachute opens. As you drift slowly towards earth, you will be amazed at how you can carry on a conversation with the instructor during the descent.
The Las Vegas diving experience is a thrilling one, but also designed to accommodate each client so that individual abilities are recognized and accounted for. This makes for a safe and comfortable learning experience that will lead to more and more jumps. After enough jumps in tandem with an instructor, you will gain the training and confidence for a solo jump. This important first solo will mark your "graduation" from skydiving school, and now you are qualified for Las Vegas skydiving over the beautiful Las Vegas area.
