We all know what a checkerboard is. To start take the imaginary board you have and fill each space with the pumps you have and the ones from your collection you love the most. After your board is filled with as many spaces as you care to fill, chose the 20 percent of those pumps that are the favorites and place them in sequence from most loved to least. Now take the most loved or first on the list and ask yourself what is the most effective 20 percent (two in ten) aspect of all the pumps you own. Understand the ones you have loved the most and recognize them. Expand the opportunity to buy only that kind of pump as you now recognize what it is. The law of the significant few or the 2080 rule is applied to every one of the pumps you have.
You have individual tastes. You have a foot that you know and love. It is just that sometimes the pumps you buy don't seem to love your foot. There is one that does. If you have many, and lets face it you probably do, list them on your checkerboard. Then review the board and ask your self whichdo I love most? Is it because they are comfortable as they should be? Is it the designer name? Is it because they make your foot look small? You are beautiful, and you have the right to feel very comfortable and sexy in your shoes, no matter what style you choose. Pumps can be intimidating.
So now that you know you can feel sexy and comfortable in your pumps, all you need to do is eliminate the ones that do not make you feel that way. Vote with your feet and only buy the ones that make you feel great. You may have ten in your collection and the colors may vary. You may have bought some for the color in fact. No more of that.
